SDAHO will provide a hospital financial webinar series, where we explore the fundamental concepts and strategies essential for managing the financial health of healthcare institutions. These two sessions cover a range of topics, including budgeting, revenue cycle management, cost control, financial reporting, and compliance. Whether you’re new to healthcare finance or looking to deepen your understanding, join us as we delve into key principles and best practices to help you navigate the complex financial landscape of hospitals.
During the second session, attendees will understand the basics of financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement. This session will cover hospital budgets, budget variances and implications for overall financial performance. Key performance indicators and how to interpret these indicators will be discussed. In addition, this session will share how they impact your overall financial strength of your organization.
Participants of the Finance Fundaments program will understand:
