Dr. Vera Staley joined the department of Orthopedics/Rehabilitation Medicine at Denver Health in August 2022. She attended medical school at University of Colorado and then stayed in Colorado for her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She then completed a fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at Rutgers/Kessler Rehabilitation in New Jersey. She is dual-boarded in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury medicine. She has clinical interests in spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, neuro-rehabilitation, peripheral nerve injuries, and spasticity management.
