Overview:

As the follow up to Part 1 of this series, this session will focus on naming our weaknesses and narrowing our scope to better understand how we effectively use this information to improve our work day.Ā  When we implement strategies to address our weaknesses, we are more effective in our day and donā€™t leave feeling drained and depleted.Ā  In addition, we will have a follow up conversation on the strengths portion of this topic that we introduced last month.

Objectives:
  • Using the definition of weakness as shared by Marcus Buckingham define your weaknesses.
  • Understand how you can apply this knowledge to your work to feel less depleted and drained.

Mary Sand, PhD is a proven leader with more than 35 years of professional experience in healthcare, nonprofit organizations and higher education. She began her healthcare career as a physical therapist and over the years held various administrative and leadership positions. Mary had the privilege of leading teams in a variety of settings including hospitals, clinics, long term care, and a healthcare system. Recently Mary launched her own consulting business focusing on facilitation, strategy implementation and physician leadership development. After living and working in South Dakota for many years, Mary recently moved to Omaha, NE to launch Sand Consulting.
