Join AHA in Minneapolis on May 7 for The Value Initiative’s Executive Forum

Join the American Hospital Association (AHA) and hospital leaders from your region and beyond to explore opportunities and challenges to improve value through innovation and collaboration with providers, payers, employers and community partners. This AHA-members-only, complimentary event is part of The Value Initiative’s Executive Forum series that is exploring hospitals’ role in addressing value and affordability in health care. The agenda features speakers to spark discussion around how hospitals are creating value through consumer-driven innovation and collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders to improve outcomes, enhance the patient experience and reduce cost.

The agenda features an exciting lineup of speakers, including:

  • AHA Past Board Chair Brian Gragnolati, president and CEO, Atlantic Health System, who will moderate a story “slam” exploring how hospitals and health systems are using low-tech solutions to address care coordination, social needs and the broader social determinants of health, serious illness and health equity.
  • Penny Wheeler, MD, president and CEO of Allina Health, who will share how her health system is building bridges with community stakeholders and improving value in the process.
  • Bryan Slaba, CEO of Wagner Community Hospital Avera and Brian Bossard, MD, CEO of Bryan Health Telemedicine, who will discuss how rural hospitals are using telehealth to ensure access for their patients and communities.

Up to three hours of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Qualified Education Credit will be provided for this program.
