SDAHO Launches Public Health Emergency Info Resource

Staying on top of ongoing illnesses and infectious diseases can be an endless responsibility for healthcare professionals, with information changing daily. The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) has created a webpage where members can access resources in one location. The Public Health Emergency Information webpage has the latest on current and ongoing infectious diseases, such as Monkeypox and COVID-19. In addition, members have access to archived information collected during the pandemic.

Webpage visitors have access to federal and state information on the development of Monkey Pox in addition to direct links where members can access trusted information on a variety of topics such as; outbreak cases and data, signs and symptoms, prevention, and treatment. In addition, the latest press releases from the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and other federal and state agencies are archived here for easy access for our members.

As the world continues to get back to normal from COVID-19, SDAHO recognizes the pandemic is still not over. Members can access the Public Health Emergency Information webpage to stay on top of the latest developments with COVID-19, both at the state and federal level. In addition, SDAHO has archived COVID-19 resources in one location, providing members easy access to the following:
