November is the month dedicated to raising awareness about the benefits of quality hospice and palliative care. This year’s theme is “Courageous Conversations.” As part of these conversations, healthcare professionals aim to educate the public about the difference between hospice and palliative care. They also emphasize the advantages of working with an interdisciplinary team when dealing with a serious illness, regardless of the diagnosis or prognosis. Finally, they highlight the importance of whole-person care that covers physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Please let us know what you plan to do so that we can help you promote the event or share pictures (with appropriate photo releases) during the month. You can send your items to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
