SDAHO is kicking off “Opioids: Change the Script” – Quality Improvement Project

The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) and the Compass Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) invite health care facilities to join the effort of combating the opioid crisis through a quality improvement project called “Opioids –  Change the Script.” This action-driven project will take a multidisciplinary team approach to implementing safe and effective use of opioids while reframing the current focus on pain to one of comfort and functionality.

Participation is free and all hospitals are encouraged to participate. This project runs from January through June 2019. For more information, click here. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Jennifer Kok.
