CMS will hold a National Provider Calls on the draft guidance ligature risk in hospitals on Thursday, June 20 at 1 p.m. (CST). In addition, CMS added a new section to Chapter 2, describing the process for deemed and non-deemed hospitals to request a ligature risk extension. CMS is seeking input on compliance with the Conditions of Participation and the ligature risk extension request process.
