2022 Legislative Impact Brief Now Available for SDAHO Members

The 2022 Legislative Impact Brief lists legislation passed during the session along with a brief description on anticipated impacts to healthcare providers. During the 2022 Legislative Session, the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) Advocacy team worked hard to make sure healthcare voices were heard. This year, there were many bills that passed impacting healthcare facilities, workers, and patients/residents. The brief takes a deeper dive into legislation focusing on a variety of issues, including medical cannabis, licensure, emergency medical services, healthcare workforce, prescription drugs, organ transplant discrimination, FY 2023 appropriations and rate increase, plus more.

The 2022 Legislative Impact Brief is a resource for SDAHO members, if you’d like to learn more about how the 2022 Legislative Session impacted healthcare facilities, please see our 2022 Legislative Impacts Brief.

If you have questions about the brief or the 2022 Legislative Session, please contact Jacob Parsons, SDAHO’s Director of Fiscal Policy.
