The South Dakota Department of Social Services has received questions and feedback about the requirement for electronic submissions when the rendering provider information is the same as the billing provider information.
SD BMOE to hold June 8 public hearing
The South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners has scheduled a public hearing in Sioux Falls on June 8 to consider petitions for declaratory rulings on four issues about whether the attending physician can delegate the task of writing orders to the following health care professionals for residents of a nursing facility and whether writing orders is within the scope of practice for those professionals as defined by state law.
